How can I get your products during the COVID-19 pandemic?
We are doing our best to get our products to you safely, following public health guidelines for physical distancing and diligent sanitizing.
You can order online for shipping across Canada, select local porch delivery if you live within Uxbridge or Sunderland, or Pick-Up yourself at The Bridge Social in downtown Uxbridge or the Uxbridge Farmers Market.
Are your products organic?
All of our herbs are grown organically, with tremendous care for our soil health and surrounding ecosystem. We are not a certified organic farm. If you have any questions about our farming practices, send us a note and we are happy to chat!
Do you really grow all of your own herbs?
YES! We only sell what we can grow. We do not import herbs, which means we can attest to the quality of every single ingredient. If we sell out of a tea sometimes it is unavailable until the next farming season, which makes it all the more special! This is a great resource on why we are so dedicated to educating people about where their herbs come from.
Do your blends contain artificial flavours or other additives?
No! Our teas include exclusively organic herbs. We do not use any form of additives (natural or artificial) as we believe our blends are delicious without, and the best way to get to know a herb is to taste its true flavour.
Can I drink your blends cold?
This is the best way of enjoying our herbal tea blends during the hot periods of the year.
Follow the indicated infusion method and transfuse the tisane in a glass bottle. After a while, put it in the refrigerator until it is fully cold.
Alternatively, you can apply the cold-brewing method. Put the indicated portion into a glass bottle. Add the required amount of lukewarm water and put it in the refrigerator for 10-12 hours. Strain and serve.
Serving tip: add some ice and a slice of lemon!
How should I brew my tea?
We believe tea should be brewed to suit your personal taste, so try our suggestions below, but don't be afraid to play around! For example, if you want a stronger brew, just use more tea. And don’t forget to re-steep your tea leaves to get the most out of your leaf!
Suggested Preparation: 1-2 tsp of tea into an infuser, pour 8oz of boiling water over, cover to stop nutrients from escaping in the steam, and steep for 5-10min. Strain and enjoy hot, or iced! Sweeten with honey if desired.
